The ThinkFast suite

is a modular programme designed to bring the benefits of visually intelligent thinking and communication skills to individuals and organisations.  The first module empowers participants to become competent and confident in the applications of hand-drawn visual thinking tools such as mind mapping.
The ThinkFast System™ enables you to capture, clarify and communicate your thoughts creatively and collaboratively. If you are paid to think, you can make your thinking pay with our ThinkFast Systems™ that will enable you to think on your feet and to articulate your ideas persuasively.  Each module in the series enhances your visual and logical thinking skills.
There are four modules:
  1.         Freehand Visual Thinking Tools
  2.         Computerised Visual Thinking Tools
  3.         ThinkFast on-the-spot - thinking tools that help you express your ideas when under pressure
  4.         ThinkFast Laterally - lateral thinking skills & creativity
All four modules support one another, but if you are already confident in one of the areas, the modules also work as standalone applications.
The aim of the ThinkFast System™ is to help each of us to get information, knowledge and wisdom into and out of our minds with maximum speed and ease of thought flow, pleasurably. It is also to exchange this information with others using an effective set of collaborative tools. Historically, the secret of the success of Mapping is in its mirroring of natural principles used by our own nervous system - a natural ‘graphical user interface‘ for the mind that‘s faster and friendlier than many traditional thought-organisation and networking tools. In fact, if you like making lists and doodling in meetings and on the phone, you’re a natural already, and you’ll love mapping. The first module builds upon mapping’s rich heritage and bridges the gap between soft-skills (thinking) and the successful software implementation we encounter in module two.
The reason visually intelligent thinking tools work so well is simple – when we ‘mirror’ nature, we engage natural principles for successful thinking, learning and creating. The natural organising principle of the mind (and thus of our thinking) is association. Of all the associations we make, visual associations are the fastest and most effective in terms of quantity and recall. Therefore, using visual thinking tools and techniques taps into a natural system that has been successful for millennia.
