Making More of Your Mind - Education

Our education programs began their development in 2002 when the SI Group launched a division of the company dedicated to the education sector, and focused exclusively upon learning. This initiative, led by Aulden Dunipace, was driven by a desire to develop tools and strategies to enhance the engagement and delivery of learning within schools in the UK.

The Si Group has been a leading player in the field of mind set change, Leadership and organisational effectiveness since the early 1990’s. It has represented Dr Stephen Covey, Brian Tracey, Anthony Robbins within Europe, and has developed its own unique approach to organisational development. Working with over 50 of the FTSE 100, as well as many of Europe’s public sector bodies, Si has worked with the learning partnership to develop education centred applications to its emotional intelligence tools.

In 2004 SI education and the Buzan Organisation, headed by Tony Buzan, formed a joint venture (Buzan Ltd) that combined their respective offerings of Leadership, Mindset change and Brain Friendly Learning strategies into a whole school approach to improve the way learning is delivered in schools.

Following pilots in schools here and abroad the approach has been refined and  in late 2005 The Learning Partnership.com was created.

The pilots included engagement by the DFES to deliver  “The Learn to Learn Pathway” in a major secondary school and its feeder primary schools, and a similar project in Calderdale College in Halifax. We have delivered the NAHT primary heads conference, run development programs for Gifted and Talented, numerous LEA conferences, as well as a number of interventions within schools. To date the feedback has been excellent.

The Learning Partnership.com CIC blends together latest thinking in learning, leadership, personal performance and change management, and develops applications for schools drawing on the experiences of many of the leaders in primary, secondary and further education in the UK.

Our belief in the potential of learners to succeed beyond the expectations of the current system has been proved in the projects we have been involved in (up to 40% uplift in learner outcomes over a year).   Consequently our goal is to make ‘brain friendly learning’ common practise in UK education.

The Learning Partnership.com CIC recognises that every educational entity and professional has differing experience and expertise. The Learn to Learn pathway is designed in such a way to allow individuals and organisations to work out the areas that would be of most value to them, and begin at that point, delivering the greatest impact to the entity.

In 2006 The Learning Partnership launched The Roundtable Foundation, bringing together leading organisations in the field of learning, and creating a collaborative network able to deliver in any areas related to learning. Members include; Fuel IT, Cavendish Training (Peter De Bono), Learn Fast, Caspian Learning, Mid Jet (Mind Manager software), Creative Arts, Sound Strategies, and many more. Outside of a commitment to collaborate and share good practise, all revenues generatedLeaders Diagnostics between Round table members will pay a 10% levy to the round table to fund education activities in the developing world.

Whether you are an established or newly created learning organisation we can help you identify successful methodologies for enhancing the delivery of learning, and provide a forum for sharing knowledge and modelling excellence.
