How does technology support learning?

The Learning partnership has formed a specialist technology roundtable. This groups of companies looks at the specific issue of how technology can enhace learning.

We know the impact of a multi-sensory learning experience on a class room, and equally the work carried out by Howard Gardner, Edward Debono, Paul Dennison and Tony Buzan shows the importance of aligning the delivery of learning to the way learners actually learn. The issue for schools is how the vast sums of money spent on technology, both hardware and software, can be used to improve the learners experience.

We have worked with our partners to develop training programs that not only look at the functionality of the technology, but also, and in many ways more importantly, how it can be used to support a brain friendly learning experience.

Ou goal is to link Interactive White Board technology, digital projection systems, with Software and curriciulum, allowing teachers and learners to benefit form the best technology has to offer, not limited by skills or capabilities.
