Teachers are the successful product of an imperfect system, and one of the basic laws of learning is that we model and copy our experiences. In order to understand how to deliver learning in a manner that engages all learners, we must first recognise that learners are different, and what worked for us at school and college, does not necessarily work for everyone.

The Learning Partnership sets out to share knowledge that was not available when we were at school or teacher training college. We aim to create an environment in school where all teachers have access to, and experience of, our latest understanding of the human mind, and the applications from around the world designed to take advantage of this knowledge. Some of these applications many teachers have come across before, however our experience shows that only when all are combined does the power of brain friendly learning shine through. Our mission is to share easy to use, practical tools that will immediately make a difference to the learner, and leave you the teacher to decide which to use and when.

In response to the limitations of the two hour session at the end of the school day as part of the "introduction to brain friendly learning", TLP has created inset training days that bring to life the practical application of brain friendly principals in the reality of the class room. These one day courses bring together good practice, and deliver it in manageable and user friendly approaches that teachers can work with instantly to engage more of the learners in their class room in a brain friendly manner, and so enhance the experience they are receiving, and empower more of their students to learn successfully.
