| | | | | | Accelerated Leader is a 360 degree leadership evaluation tool. It is built around the 5 areas of school leadership identified in the recent review of the National Standards for School Leadership.

3. Leading in the Community
4. Leading People
5. Leading Strategically
It forms part of the National College Fellowship Programme for head teachers, as well as the Middle Leaders Programme delivered by the SSAT and is available to all schools through The Learning Partnership.
The revised Standards are pertinent to all leaders within school and these 5 key areas are considered to be important to a school’s success both from a pupil perspective and from a community perspective.
Our team of leadership development specialists, school leaders and educational bodies, have highlighted a set of leadership competencies which would support the area of school leadership being assessed. For each competence, a series of statements have been developed which, when evaluated by you and your team, will allow a picture to be built of the specific effectiveness of the individual in that area of school leadership and the leadership capability of the school as a whole.
Importantly this tool has been designed by school leaders, for school leaders, from the perspective of schools, and leverages government standards in leadership and Ofsted inspection criteria for school leadership to deliver a tool that immediately impacts upon the enhancement of school leadership. | | |
