| | | | | | I work with people in organisations who want to do things differently; they want to create an organisation to which others want to belong; in sum, they are leaders, leading through engagement, influence and passion. My expertise is in the fast track development of individuals and teams, and since 2000 when I formed agcl – a Leading and Developing Company - I have become a recognised catalyst for meaningful transition, change and transformation.
How I make a difference, is by enabling clients – individuals, teams and groups (small and large) - to create solutions to overcome leadership challenges facing them; so releasing their potential. And, then I support them in sustaining and developing their potential. I do this through leading leadership seminars and workshops, using coaching, facilitation, and the practical application of business psychology. Much of my work is real-time – working purposively with what emerges in the moment.
I have worked internationally with private sector Executives, Managing Directors, Directors, Senior Managers, Middle Managers, Project Managers and Specialist Professionals from the following business sectors: Construction, Consumer, Distribution, Engineering, Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Asset Management), Food, IT, Management Consultancy, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Services, Media and Telecommunications.
And, I have worked with public sector Members of the Senior Civil Service from Permanent Secretary of State to Senior Manager, from the following Public Sector Organisations: Department for Work and Pensions, International Development, the Deputy Prime Minister, Home Office, National Probation Directorate, Commonwealth Secretariat, Sport England, and The Open University.
Before 2000, I had very successful careers in the pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical service industries, and later in recruitment, where over a period of twenty plus years, I gained strategic and operational leadership, management and international project management experience working in small, medium and large multinational, simple and complex, organisations.
In addition, I continue to have, a successful part-time career in Adult and Higher Education. I am currently an Associate Lecturer in both Psychology and Psychometrics with the Open University.
