Transaction, billing and delivery information, if you make a purchase with us or contract for one of our products, STEM Challenges, solutions or services.
Records of your interactions with us, e.g. if you send email feedback to our website, ask a technical question, report a problem or otherwise contact us.
Please note that if you telephone us, we may record the call for compliance, quality and staff training purposes.
We may also record certain details of how you use our website, such as the website you came from or are going to, your device's unique ID, your IP addresses and operating system, parts of the website you click on, products you search for, products you purchase, and information you download.
Marketing emails we send you may also automatically detect whether you have received or opened the email or clicked on a link in our marketing materials. We use this information for our own performance measurement, but also so that we can tailor our promotional messages and communications to you.

We use return email addresses received by us to answer any email we receive and for subsequent communications with you. These email addresses may be stored on our management and operations systems. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
If you are a school, a member of staff at a school or a customer of The Learning Partnership, or a business (or an employee, agent or officer of such a business) that is supporting schools participating in one of our STEM Challenges, you may be registered as a User and you may have access to a secure area of this website or our other online or social media resources for downloads of materials or resources relevant to your business.
We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online via this website or other communications media such as (but not limited to) email, Facebook, X, LinkedIn or similar media in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
With whom do we share your personal information?
Service Providers: We provide information to our service providers acting on our behalf (for example to companies that provide logistics services, digital marketing services like product recommendation, statistical analysis, business & operational insight, website optimisation), as well as to those third parties involved in the delivery chain (for example freight forwarders, couriers and delivery companies). On occasion, we also share personal information with our professional and legal advisors.
Government Authorities: Where your order is due for delivery outside the UK, we may need to share information with customs authorities both in the UK and in the country of destination. We may also share personal information with law enforcement or other governmental authority, e.g. to report a fraud or in response to a lawful request.
Credit & Fraud Checking: We may share information with credit reference agencies and with third parties engaged in fraud prevention and detection.

Where do we store your personal information, and how long for?
We keep your personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, and so this period will vary depending on your interactions with us. For example, where you have registered to participate in a STEM Challenge, we think you may be interested in participating in the future or made a purchase with us, we will keep a record of your participation or purchase for the period necessary for invoicing, tax and other operational purposes. We may also keep a record of correspondence with you (for example if you have made a complaint about a product or service) for as long as is necessary to protect us from a legal claim. Where we no longer have a need to keep your information, we will delete it. Please note that where you unsubscribe from our marketing communications, we will keep a record of your email address to ensure we do not send you marketing emails in future.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Our core business involves the interaction with schools and our STEM Challenges involve the participation of students. Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain personal information on or through our website from those we actually know are under 13, and, other than publishing materials that generally describe, illustrate or explain our STEM Challenges, no part of our website is specifically structured to attract anyone under 13.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
If you are a Registered User you can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online (or as referred to above) and maintain by using the login facility. After successful login you can change the details including passwords. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
