FIND A SPONSOR

If you wish to authorise your school for us to seek sponsorship submit a form from the options available below. We will be back to you shortly. We have a one year option for Race To The Line or longer options for all the programmes.

At The Learning Partnership, we believe that learning extends far beyond textbooks and traditional classroom settings. The Race To The Line (RTTL) Challenge isn't just another STEM competition; it’s a journey that shapes young minds into future innovators, leaders, and collaborative thinkers.

Why Race To The Line?

The RTTL Challenge is specifically designed to engage Year 7 (S1 in Scotland) students in a thrilling educational experience that balances the rigors of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with crucial life skills. Through this challenge, students are not only introduced to fundamental scientific principles around forces and motion but are also immersed in an environment that fosters substantial personal and emotional growth. And it’s fun!

Drive To The Line

Our new programme for Year 8/S2 students challenges them to create and program their own unique robot!

Teams are supplied with a programmable 'brain' and a pair of servo motors. They must stretch their creative and problem solving abilities to design and develop the rest.

They can use easy to find recycled materials or explore laser cutting and 3D printing. By not providing students with a pre-engineered kit, they will encounter their own unique design and performance features to accommodate. Real problem solving!

At the end of the activity, the robot components can be removed and reused, teaching key ideas about reuse and recycling of technology.

Connecting at regional finals

Regional finals are held around the country in schools and sponsor business locations.

The finals are an opportunity for winning school teams to compete against other schools and for the teachers and sponsors to connect and be inspired by each other.
